In the table below you will find the nouns of school supplies with their corresponding definite articles. If the gender of the noun is masculine it is represented in blue, if it is feminine it is represented in red.

  (Carlos drew a happy face on the cover of his notebook)


• ¿Dónde está mi cuaderno? / Está en la silla.
  (Where is my notebook? / It is on the chair)


• Puedes utilizar un clip de papel para sujetar los papeles.
  (You can use a paper clip to hold the pages together)


• Todo lo que necesitas es papel, tijeras y una barra de pegamento.
  (All you need is paper, scissors and a glue stick)


• Usé una perforadora para hacer agujeros en las hojas y luego las puse en mi carpeta.
  (I used a hole puncher to put holes in the pages and then put them in my binder)
