In the table below you will find the nouns of school supplies with their corresponding definite articles. If the gender of the noun is masculine it is represented in blue, if it is feminine it is represented in red.

Example sentences:

• Enero es el primer mes del año.
  (January is the first month of the year)


• El 14 de febrero es el día de San Valentín.
  (February 14th is Valentine's Day)


• Estuvieron de vacaciones el pasado mes de marzo.
  (They were on vacation last March)


• Las clases universitarias comienzan en mayo.
  (College classes begin in May)


• El pasado mes de junio fuimos a Europa.
  (Last June we went to Europe)


• Me voy a Japón con mi novia en agosto.
  (I'm going to Japan with my girlfriend in August)


• El clima es agradable en setiembre.
  (The weather is nice in September)


• Alberto y María se casarán en octubre.
  (Alberto and María are getting married in October)


• En diciembre celebramos la Navidad.
  (In December we have Christmas)
